Balik Pulau Trip #OOTD



Hi, there? Still think where to go and what to wear?
Now let me show you where to go and what to wear in Penang Island. 

Sometime you might think of how people cover their fat belly?? Haha, I will show you how. As I'm also a chubby person. Whereby, chubby person can have their OOTD too. Hahaha!!!

I believe that many people been to visit Georgetown, Penang before and it is many times, feel boring?? And wondering to experience the new things?? Now let me bring u guys go around the Balik Pulau and there is an of course, you'll capture the interesting and fun things to do in Balik Pulau, Penang. This post will be the leading person.


     
Balik Pulau Market

   Let start our vacation. As per the itinerary above, On 27 February 2018 me and my friend are organised a trip to Balik Pulau. Therefore, according to the plan the first location that we arrive will be the Market of Balik Pulau. Which to have a simple, cheap and delicious brunch; which is the starter for the whole vacation. Such as, pasembur, char koey tow, chicken chop rice, toast and coffee.

Street Art & Kim Laksa

All along the way, the first destination will be the mural and one of the famous laksa in Balik Pulau which is Kim Laksa. 

     The first mural that will be see in Balik Pulau will be the Old Fisherman Mural  by Julia Volchkova in 7 December 2015. The mural are been drawn on the wall of a shop house facing the Balik Pulau Old Market Car Park. Which the mural deliver an elderly fisherman who is seemingly involved in mending his net. This mural is use to celebrates the fishing village that line the coast of Balik Pulau.

    Follow by, The Silversmith which is the final master piece of Ernest Zacharevic for the Urban Xchange art festival. The mural was located at on the wall of a shop house facing a car park, across Jalan Balik Pulau from the Sacred Heart School. The following is the street before the next mural. Where Mr, Zacharevic's using a method called reverse graffiti to painted on the wall and it is completed on 25 November, Which the mural subjected to be the local silversmith.

    Along the way to next station, we are having one of the famous laksa in Balik Pulau which is the Kim Laksa. It is located at beside of the Balik Pulau Old Market Car Park at the Nam Guang Coffee Shop. The laksa operate since early 1970s and has been change 2 owners. The operation hours of the shop is from Monday to Sunday from 12.30 pm until 3.30 pm and it's close on Wednesday.

Church of the Holy Name of Jesus

    Next destination is the Church of the Holy Name of Jesus, is one of the old church that been builde 100 plus years ago which the age of the Church now is about 163 years old. The location of the Church is at Church of the Holy Name of Jesus, 11000 Main Road, Balik Pulau, Penang. Street Art & Little Refreshment

    In the middle of the vacation, we have did some refreshment. We are playing around like crazy, buy some cold beverage such as coconut water, cincau and limau ice to rehydrate our self. Besides that, we are also visit to Lee Fang mother school which it is just a walking distance so we take a rest at there and continue for our vacation. We do have snap some picture of the mural which we not sure about the background and the local people are also not sure about the background as well.   




      The Silat Mural is a mural on a wall in Balik Pulau. Gracing a wall facing Dataran Tuah along Jalan Balik Pulau, it was painted in January, 2016 by Julia Volchkova which is a mural artist from Russian. The mural depicts silat master Johari Omar engaging in silat with another proponent.

Ghee Hup Nutmeg Factory

    Ghee Hup Nutmeg Factory is one of the famous tourist destination in Balik Pulau. The owner who are Chang Kun Mim is a 79 years old guys are very friendly to welcome us, treat us the welcome drinks and introduce the nutmeg to us and the usage and benefit of the nutmeg as well. The surrounding of the area is very fresh and everyone of us are very relax at that time. Besides that, there are also have a temple at the factory. Through Mr, Chang the factory are started since 1910 which is the family business of him and the factory are already operate for 2 generation. And Mr.Chang said that he will do his best to pass to the next generation.

Pantai Pasir Betong

    The second final of our trip will be the Pantai Pasir Betong. The beach is located at Pulau Betong, 11000, Pulau Pinang. The Beach is one of the prettier spots on Penang for the few who make the effort to get here. The beach is backed by a National Service Training Centre for young graduates entering the army. There is also a recommended place for watching the sunset and enjoy the moment with the love one. 







Balik Kampong at Balik Pulau


    The final destination of our trip is Balik Kampong at Balik Pulau. It is a nice place to visit, which they provided various of activities such as riding a bike, paddling boat and fish catching as well. Other than that, they are also serving food like prawn mee, laksa, special drinks and some seafood and home style cook. As we go with a group so we order the food together and share it together. We order for about 7 dishes and 7 drinks which only cost RM 120.00 as we have order 2 or 3 seafood cuisine; the cost that been charge is reasonable and the food is delicious. As our plan is to watch the sunset, but due to the weather and it is raining thereofore we can't make it to watch. However, this trip is very memorable and very happy.

    Now I would like to said about my outfit of the day. As I'm the one who want to cover my belly so i wear black shirt and pants and sport shoes as well. Where to get?? How Much??

    The end of the trip, I would like to thank to my group member, our tourists, the "helper" my 2 cute brothers. And the trip is very fun, happy and memorable. And i would like to revisit those place again in future. Very appreaciate it for everythings.
